Forward Deployed Engineer
Get new cafés, hotels, restaurants and service businesses running on Octabiz, then hand it over.
About the role
You will move a new customer's data in from their old tools, connect their payments, bookings and point of sale, and work with the owner remotely until everything runs. Then you hand it over and bring what you learned back to the product team so the next setup goes faster. We are a small, remote-first team and most of our code ships through Claude Code, so your fixes go live within days.
What you bring
Comfortable talking to a business owner and working in a database on the same day; experience with data imports, APIs or integrations; you already use AI tools like Claude Code or Codex in real work. Nice to have: a Product School certificate, especially Forward Deployed Engineering. Mention it at the top of your application and we review it first.
