Octabiz joins the Firecrawl and Apify startup programs

We've been accepted into two startup programs that work closely together inside Octabiz:

• Firecrawl's startup program doubles our plan's monthly credits for a year (up to $2,500 of extra credits a month).
• Apify's startup program gives us 30% off Apify's Scale plan.

Both tools read websites and turn them into clean data. Firecrawl is great at reading a single site quickly, and Apify runs ready-made web tools (they call them Actors) that collect public data at scale. Between them, they do most of the heavy lifting when a shop moves into Octabiz.

Moving your store into OctaShop

• Paste your website, we'll fill this in. When you sign up, book a demo or add a new vendor, you can paste a website address and Octabiz fills in the company details (Firecrawl), so you don't type them by hand.
• Importing your products. If you already sell online, OctaShop import reads your existing site and brings your products across (Firecrawl), so you don't rebuild your catalogue from scratch.
• Moving whole stores. For bigger moves, our team runs a store migration: Apify and Firecrawl read the old store (products, pages, content) so we can bring everything into OctaShop instead of asking you to copy it over.

Finding new customers in Growth Studio

• Research runs. Growth Studio collects local businesses as leads (Apify). Each run has a set budget and a Stop button, so it never runs away with costs.
• Reading reviews. "Read and analyze reviews" pulls up to 120 of a business's newest Google reviews and sorts them into what people like and what they complain about. It's useful before you call a lead, or when you want to see what customers say about your own shop.

Why this matters to you

Setting up new software is where most people give up, and moving an online store is the worst part. Every form we can fill in and every product we can carry across for you is one less reason to put it off until next month.

The program credits and discount let us run these imports and research runs without rationing them, and keep them inside the plans small shops already pay for.
