Octabiz has joined the Recall.ai Startup Program. Through it we get meeting recording at $0.25 an hour for our first 10,000 hours, plus direct help from Recall.ai's engineers.
Recall.ai is the technology behind the Meeting Assistant in Octabiz.
What Recall.ai does in Octabiz
- Sends a recorder bot to your online meetings. From the Meetings page you can send the bot to a call right away with Send bot, schedule it, or have it join meetings straight from your calendar.
- Records the meeting and returns the transcript. When the call ends, the recording and transcript come back into Octabiz, and we turn them into notes you can actually use (who said what, what was agreed, what to do next).
- Live transcripts. While the meeting is still running, the transcript can come through in real time.
Why this matters to you
Shop owners spend more time on calls with suppliers, landlords, accountants and staff than most people think, and the details of those calls usually live in someone's memory. Having the bot join means you can stay in the conversation and still have a record afterwards.
The lower recording price also means we can keep the Meeting Assistant in reach for small shops, which is the whole point of it.
