Octabiz has joined the Speechmatics Startup Program, with $2,000 in Speechmatics credits.
Speechmatics turns speech into text, and it handles accents and many languages well. That matters for the shops we work with, from Louisville to Muscat.
What we use Speechmatics for
- Meeting transcripts. After a recorded meeting ends, Speechmatics turns the audio into the transcript the Meeting Assistant works from.
- Live call transcription. When your staff are on a phone call through Octabiz, both sides of the call can be transcribed as it happens, so nobody has to scribble notes.
- Talking instead of typing. The microphone in the AI chat and the meeting Record mode use it to turn what you say into text.
- Persian in Live translate. In Live translate, Speechmatics handles Persian. Other languages use a different provider.
Why this matters to you
Shop owners talk all day: at the counter, on the phone, with suppliers. Anything we can capture from speech is something you don't have to write down later.
If transcripts in your language aren't good enough, please tell us which language and what went wrong. That's exactly the feedback we need.
